Dear Potential Voter,
Thank you for taking the time to read this letter written to you.
My name is Michele Lee Stroh and I have lived in Oregon City my entire life.
I am running for re-election for the Oregon City School Board Position 1.
I have held this office for the last four years and have accumulated a list of accomplishments. My most important achievement was creating a policy that brought the lifesaving drug, Narcan into our district. When I found my middle son passed away in 2020, we learned he had died from one fake oxytocin pill that was fentanyl. Fentanyl has killed 5,229 people in Clackamas County from 2020-2024. l made it a priority to educate my community on this deadly drug.
I was also able to get drug prevention and education on fentanyl into our classrooms before the legislation mandate.
I have been active in this community as your school board member by attending many events of our students and building relationships between business owners and our district.
I still have work to accomplish. We just passed a bond and I would love to remain a voice at the table to see it put into action. I want to see our students test scores improve and see success from our graduating class. I also want to continue to support our teachers as they endure hard times with student behaviors escalating in the classroom. I want to be an active voice for the parents with concerns of the district. I will continue creating connections with our students.

Voting is so important at these special elections. I humbly ask for your support for my re-election.
